Celebrate Canada 150, The Power of Words: Our Identity, Our Stories with 15 celebrated Canadian writers, 27 sessions, 6 writers’ workshops and more in the beautiful 1000 Islands.

Join in intimate and relaxed living room sessions in the region’s finest inns, workshops with leaders in the literary arts, savory meal engagements, and fabulous community celebrations.

Our lineup includes authors Terry Fallis, Karolyn Smardz Frost, Ian Hamilton, Cathy Marie Buchanan, Marni Jackson, Kerry Clare, Lindy Mechefske, Lindsay Anderson and Dana VanVeller; spoken word artist Prufrock Shadowrunner; children’s authors/illustrators Claudia Dávila, Jess Keating and Paul Covello; and local authors Maggie Wheeler and Susan Smith. Join us as we celebrate our writers, our stories, and our country!

Books will be on sale with signing opportunities at the festival and can be purchased in Gananoque at Beggars Banquet Books.
